Nosework classes require prior instructor approval. Priority enrollment is given to members of the Greater Lafayette Kennel Club. Classes are $80 member/$120 non-member for eight weeks, unless otherwise noted.

Beginner Nose Work

Nose work is a fun and fast growing sport where dogs search for essential oil scent similar to drug or bomb detection dogs.  We will use the method of shaping (Operant Conditioning) and back chaining. The dog "finds" the odor by accident and is rewarded at source. Prior approval of the instructor is required.

Contact Janet Winslow or  Education Committee Chair for more information.
